We come out, look over your roof, walls and concrete, and tell you what we see in plain words. You get our read on what needs attention, what can wait and what we’d leave alone, with no pressure to book anything.
Step by step
- You book it. Call or text Terrance at (812) 664-6222, or use the form on our free exterior evaluation page. We’re open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm. We’ll tell you how long your visit should take when we book it.
- You tell us the history. How old the roof is, if you know. Any past leaks. The shingle brand, if you kept the paperwork. Whether there’s an HOA.
- We look. Up top: aging, damage, granule loss, staining and flashing. On the walls: siding, brick, soffits and gutter faces. On the ground: driveway, walks, patio and steps.
- We take photos. You see what we saw, including the spots you can’t see from the yard.
- You get the answer. Clean it, protect it, treat it, wait, or call a roofer. If it’s the last one, we’ll say so.
Why we ask so many questions
Your shingle brand and HOA rules matter. We check both before we recommend any roof treatment, so you don’t end up with a treatment your shingle maker or your HOA says no to.
The roof’s condition matters past the treatment, too. If you sell, Indiana’s seller disclosure form asks for the known condition of “The roof.” It helps to know what’s up there.
One thing this visit isn’t: it covers the outside of your property only, and it doesn’t take the place of the home inspector a buyer hires.
